Small projects. Clear scope.

Not a licensed contractor. Construction and repair projects must total less than $1,000, including labor, materials and all other costs, require no permits, and be completed without hired workers. Larger projects cannot be split into smaller jobs to fit this limit. We check the full scope and local requirements before booking.

A FEW QUICK ANSWERS

Before you book.

What does the $150 minimum cover?

The minimum labor charge covers a service visit of up to 2 hours. A shorter job still costs $150, so you can combine several small tasks. Materials are additional at receipt cost. For longer visits, labor is calculated at $75/hour, or $70/hour for repeat clients, with a $150 minimum per visit.

What projects can you take on without a contractor’s license?

We offer minor work within California’s exemption: the entire project must be under $1,000 including all labor, materials and other costs, need no permits and use no hired workers. It cannot be part of a larger construction project or divided to avoid licensing rules. Plumbing, electrical and other replacement requests are reviewed against local requirements first. Read CSLB’s guidance.

How can I pay?

We accept Zelle, cash, checks, ACH bank transfers, and credit or debit cards.

Can I combine several small jobs?

Yes. Include your whole list in the request so we can agree on the scope and estimate the time needed.

How are materials charged?

Materials are separate from labor and billed at receipt cost. We provide the receipts for material expenses.

Does submitting a request book an appointment?

No. We will discuss your project, confirm availability and agree on the appointment with you first.

Can I send photos?

Yes. Text photos to 754-284-9842 or attach them to your email. Include a wide view and a close-up of the repair when possible.
